Intro Offers

Intro Offers are for NEW students only, to help clients see how much yoga they can fit into their week – this will then inform which Membership suits them best. Intro Offers vary in length according to the offer at the time. Access to the studio starts from the day of your first visit, so if you purchase a 14 Day Intro Offer on the 3rd of the month and then have your first visit on the 20th, you have access to Unlimited Classes for 14 days after the 20th. You are only permitted to purchase 1x Intro Offer per person, if you purchase a second offer it will be revoked from your account and your payment will go towards a Gold Membership which offers the same access (unlimited classes).

Membership Contracts

Memberships can be upgraded at any time, with at least 2 week’s notice before the next payment is due. Downgrades or cancellations can only be made at the end of the 3 month non-cancellation period. After this 3 months period, you can downgrade / upgrade or cancel your membership through contacting the Studio Manager on info@soulsanctuarystudios.com at least 1 month prior to the start of your next contract payment. If you remove payment method from your account without requesting contract termination, payments will continue to be added as debt on your account which must be paid off. It is not possible to change contracts, receive a refund or discount mid contract. You can purchase memberships via the Soul Sanctuary App, or login to your account via our Website ‘Login’. To set up a monthly Autopay, you will need to use a Credit/Debit Card on the desktop site, rather than the app. You can set up an Autopay using Direct Debit, however this needs to be done in person / over the phone. Please note that direct debits do not allow for direct refunds through Mindbody, hence we encourage the use of Credit / Debit cards, to facilitate a simplified process. Annual Memberships cover you for 12 months of Unlimited Yoga from date of purchase and are non-refundable.

Bronze Memberships: 1 class / week

Silver Memberships: 2 classes / week

Class

Payment for all classes must be received 7 days prior to the scheduled class date to ensure your place. If you cancel your space in class before 6 hours from class start time you will not incur a cancellation charge. If you cancel your space within 6 hours of the class start time, is considered a ‘late cancel’. Late cancels incur a cancellation fee of £5.00 to your account, this can take up to 72-hours to be processed after class. This is to ensure that students who are on the waiting list have a chance to get to class and to prevent block booking without attendance. If you have put yourself on the waiting list, it is your responsibility to check if you are added into class.

We ask that students arrive 5-10 minutes before class start time. If you arrive after the class start time please do not come into the classroom. Wayland’s Yard Cafe is closed for pre and post work classes so the front door will be locked at the class start time. We aim to promote respect for our students by starting and ending class on time and respect for teachers by arriving in time. Lateness results in a late cancel charge as stated above.

Please prepare yourself before class – bring a towel, water, or anything else you need so that once you are comfortable on your mat you can stay for the duration. This includes ensuring that you don’t need to leave due to parking expiration. Entering or leaving is disruptive to fellow students’ practice.

Block booking is prohibited – you will only be able to book up to 2 weeks in advance to ensure new students are able to attend class.

Soul Sanctuary teachers may cover each other’s classes. No refunds will be given due to change of instructor.

At times, Soul Sanctuary studio may close or classes may be rescheduled or cancelled due to community members taking priority using the space, or if Soul Sanctuary teachers are on training, retreat or unavailable. No refunds will be offered for class change or cancellation. Depending on the duration of studio closure, a discounted monthly rate may be offered at Soul Sanctuary’s discretion, in this case members would be notified accordingly.

Private Classes

Private classes last for 45 minutes and are deemed non-refundable if cancelled within 12 hours of class start time. We offer 1x Private class for £60 in our Studios, £50 if it’s at your home, or an option of 5x Private classes with a 10% discount off the total.

Workshops

Workshops are non-refundable and payment cannot be exchanged for other classes.

Our ‘Level-Up’ Workshops are run by our Soul Sanctuary Teachers, and offer you the tools to take your practice to the next level. These are £10 for the session – no discounts apply.

Premium Workshops are sessions with a specific Workshop leader, coming to Soul Sanctuary with knowledge and experience to offer you something different! These Workshops will be priced according to the leader’s specific requirements.

RETREATS

Soul Sanctuary Retreats vary in frequency, length and location. Prices vary due to location, retreat content, food, organisation and admin. Retreat bookings are non-refundable once purchased.

Offers

Offers may be given mid-month, no discount or refunds will be available for those who have purchased membership at original price.

Pregnancy

If you think you may be pregnant it is important that you email info@soulsanctuarystudios.com to let us know, all information will be confidential, but this allows us to direct you to Pregnancy Yoga appropriate classes and ensures you are safe in class. It is not recommended to practice yoga before 13 weeks. We are able to freeze your account during pregnancy but we do not offer refunds for the remainder of the month. We discourage and do not take responsibility for those who are pregnant and choose to attend non-pregnancy yoga classes. Only pregnancy yoga classes offer the time and attention required to ensure you and your baby are safe. We happily refer pregnant students to Polly Woodward, our Trusted Partner – please contact polly@yogabellies.co.uk to arrange your pregnancy yoga classes.

YOUTH AND KIDS YOGA

We run kids & youth yoga throughout the year, as well as ‘Family Workshops’ where parent and child can experience yoga together – please see our ‘Workshops’ on our App or ‘Events’ on our website to book in. Under 13’s are welcome to join regular classes with a supervising adult, once the Youth Waiver has been returned. We do not recommend that 8 years and below attend adult classes, please see kids yoga and family workshops instead. If a child is not participating in class, they cannot be left unsupervised in the studio. Please email info@soulsanctuarystudios.com to check that the class is suitable for your child, the 90 minute classes are physically & mentally challenging… Please email info@soulsanctuarystudios.com to complete the Youth Waiver form before your child attends class.
Please note we do not allow children to wait unsupervised outside of class or in the cafe.
The ‘late cancel’ charge also applies to Kids Yoga classes.

Membership Questions

How do the ‘INTRO offers’ work?

Intro Offers are for NEW students only, to help them see how much yoga they can fit into their week – this will then inform which membership suits them best! The offer will run from the date of your first visit onwards for 14 days. Our Intro Offers are only for NEW students who have not visited the studio before. If you have already been to our classes you will not be able to purchase the Introductory pass on your account. We are able to track accounts which need to be merged, so please note if you create a second account for this offer you will be charged for a month of Gold membership at £68, which offers the same access to class.

What counts for pension/ retired/ unwaged/ STUDENT documentation?

Any authentic documentation which is evidential of you being categorised as one of the above.

What is the difference between the memberships options?

Please see all info on classes and membership here.

Can I carry my Silver passes over?

No, a Silver membership entitles you to 2 classes/week which cannot be carried over (this may appear as 10 passes maximum for the 5 week months, but is not indicative of a 10 class pass). This is a Membership, not a Class Pass – we do offer a Class Pass of 5 classes which can be used over 2 months at your leisure. Our Memberships are designed to create commitment and routine for our members, whereas the 5 Class Pass offers flexibility and freedom of attendance. We have seen in the past, if we don’t make our Memberships weekly, students tend to get out of their regular weekly practice and end up cramming classes at the end of the month. This is a problem with class capacity, and means student’s practices becomes monthly rather than weekly. This is also applicable to our Bronze Membership.

I have a monthly membership so why can’t I book into class?

Usually this is because you have exceeded the amount of classes that your membership allows that week – this includes waitlists. It could also be because you have debt on your account above £20 and so your account may be blocked. See steps below to pay off account debt.

Can I pause my membership for holiday?

We cannot ‘pause’ memberships for any other reason than medical reasons. Memberships are 3-month contracts – you would need to wait until the 3rd month after your most recent payment and then request to cancel your contract. You cannot simply remove your card from the account as the charge will accumulate as debt on your account. If you do not want to be tied into a 3-monthly contract (which offers the discounted class rate), a class pass is available at a slightly higher class rate.

Can I pause my membership for illness/injury?

If you have a signed doctors note that you can share with us you can cancel your membership and restart the membership when you are ready to come back to class. Memberships can only be renewed 3-monthly, you will not be refunded mid month as stated in T&C’s online and at point of purchase. You cannot ‘pause’ your membership for illness, injury, holiday or any other reason without medical signature.

Can I practice yoga if I have a bad back?

Please seek advice from your doctor to see whether you should be practicing yoga. If you are told that it will be helpful for your injury by a medical professional we can help you modify in class, but we are not responsible if you decide to practice in class under injury.

Should I practice yoga if I have a cold/flu/bug?

We do ask that if you are sick you take rest. It is usually your bodies way of asking you to rest, and we want to avoid making other students ill in the studio and spread the illness further.

If I have a heart/cardiovascular condition what do I do?

Please seek advice from your doctor to see whether you should be practicing yoga. If you have any current or history of heart or cardiovascular conditions it is your responsibility to let us know, and to share a letter of consent to practice yoga signed by your doctor.

Do I lose a class pass with my late cancel?

No, you will only be charged for a late cancel – your class will be returned to your account. This applies to Membership classes, Class Pass classes, and Drop-In classes.

What happens if I don’t have a credit card on my account to pay a late charge?

The charge will be added to your account as debt and you will need to pay off the charge before your next class.
